Education and Training Committee Call for Fall Technical Workshop and Webinar Proposals

The United States Society on Dams (USSD) Education and Training Committee is opening

applications for Fall Technical Workshops and Webinars to be held in 2024. USSD invites

you to submit a proposal for consideration to participate.

The goals of all USSD events and education are to:

  • Provide high-quality and engaging educational presentations with knowledgeable speakers to the USSD audience.
  • Facilitate the professional development and growth of our education event

Workshop Format

  • 3-day workshop series, October 2024 in Denver, Colorado (in-person)
    • 3-day, 2-day, 1-day and ½-day workshops

Webinar Format

  • Offered once a month except in April and October
  • Up to 2-hour lecture-style presentations
  • Virtual format

Workshop / Webinar Topics

USSD is seeking presenters to share leading-edge ideas, inspire enlightening discussions and

convey the fundamentals to master the subject matter in any area relevant to dams and

levees. Topics are selected based on USSD Technical Committee recommendations, member

surveys, success of past events, and relevance of topic.

Selection

Your input is valued and will be carefully considered by the USSD Education and Training

Committee. The committee appreciates all submissions, and if you are not selected for this

upcoming program year, we will keep your submission for consideration the following year.

 

How to Submit

Proposals should be supported by one or more of the USSD Technical Committees.
