The U.S. Society on Dams announces that Sharon Powers will join USSD as Executive Director on sharon headshotOctober 30.  Powers brings a wealth of experience, having most recently served as Director of Administration for the American Water Works Association in Denver.  USSD Secretary-Treasurer Denise Bunte-Bisnett, who led the search team, says, “Sharon quickly rose to the top, with her intelligence, work ethic, experience and congenial nature.
