Committee on Environment

Environmental Issues Questionnaire

The USSD Committee on Environment invites Members and others to participate in a Survey of environmental issues experienced during the planning, design, construction and operation phases of a draft project. The information gathered will be be analyzed and summarized for presentation during the 2008 USSD Annual Meeting and Conference in Portland, Oregon, next spring.

The goal of the survey is to collect project-specific information that the Committee can use to prepare meaningful guidance documents based on the lessons learned by Members during current or previously completed projects. It is intended that this guidance will help Members avoid scheduling or budgeting surprises and enable projects to be conducted more efficiently from the holistic viewpoint of environmental engineering interaction.

PDF and Word.doc versions of the questionnaire are available. Please send your response to Jack White by October 15, 2007. The .doc version can be downloaded, completed and sent to Jack by e-mail. The PDF and .doc versions can also be downloaded and mailed to Jack.
