Exhibition Opportunity

Companies providing goods and services related to dams and reservoirs, levees, dam operation and maintenance, dam safety, hydro power and water resources are invited to participate in 30th USSD Annual Meeting and Conference, April 12-16, 2010 in Sacramento, California.

This important Conference will bring together more than 350 professionals from the public and private sectors, including federal and state agencies, academia, consultants, contractors and dam owners. The Conference theme is Collaborative Management of Integrated Watersheds. Technical Sessions will focus on best practices and new technologies related to concrete dams, embankment dams and levees, dam safety, security and risk, construction, and planning and environmental issues. The Conference will provide an exceptional opportunity to exhibit products and services featuring technological advances related to dams and water resources. In addition to the technical conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, workshops on risk analysis and tailings dams will be offered on Thursday.

Companies providing goods and services related to dams and levees, risk assessment, dam engineering, seismic analysis, monitoring and instrumentation, safety of dams, dam security, water resources and water management are invited to exhibit.

Exhibition Information

The Exhibition opens with a reception at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12, and closes following the afternoon coffee break on Wednesday, April 14. The exhibits will be in an area also used by the Conference participants for continental breakfasts, coffee breaks and the Tuesday evening reception, so traffic is assured. Setup begins on Monday at 1 p.m. Space will be available for freestanding displays and tabletop exhibits. The Exhibition Fee includes one space (10 feet wide by 8 feet deep) with a table, two chairs and electricity. No booth dividers, backdrops or signs will be provided.

Only 36 exhibit spaces are available, as shown on the Exhibition Floor Plan. Booth assignments will be made in the order that exhibit Reservation Forms and payment are received. To be listed in the on-site program, exhibit reservations must be made by April 2.

Exhibit setup will begin at 8:00 a.m. on April 12; the exhibition opens at 6:00 p.m. Exhibit tear down will begin at 3:30 p.m. on April 14 and must be completed by 5:30 p.m. Internet access will be available for purchase in the exhibition area. Contact USSD for details.

Exhibition Fee

The Exhibition Fee is $1,095 and $875 for Organizational Members of USSD, a 20 percent discount. USSD Sustaining Members are entitled to an exhibit at no additional cost. Contact USSD for membership information.

The Exhibition Fee allows one person to participate in all Conference activities, including the technical sessions, receptions and meals, a Workshop or Field Tour on April 15, and a Field Tour on April 16. Additional staff members from exhibiting firms are welcome to participate, but will be expected to pay the Exhibitor Staff Registration Fee of $495 per participant, a reduction from the full Registration Fee of $795. The Exhibitor Staff Fee includes all activities on Monday through Wednesday. Contact information for each exhibitor representative should be included on the Exhibitor Reservation Form.

Note: Sponsors of the Conference Tours, Breakfasts, Breaks, Lunches, Receptions and Dinner may have a representative attend the sponsored event at no additional cost. One sponsor representative may participate in the full Conference at a Discounted Participant Registration fee of $595; and/or may attend a Workshop for a fee of $150. Additional representatives will be expected to pay the Member registration fee of $695. Each sponsor representative should complete a Conference Registration Form, or an Online Registration Form.
